Ziegler Chobi – In fact, any Ziegler with a beige colored backing can be described as a Chobi Ziegler. It is often assumed that Chobi and Farahan denote differences in quality. However, this is a mistake as chobi means wooden. In Afghanistan and Pakistan, therefore, carpets of all qualities are called Ziegler Chobi. Similarly, the addition of Farahan denotes the old pattern, not the quality of the Ziegler carpet.
