It’s simple, as only those with enough knowledge and experience can do a quality job. Carpet cleaning is a difficult job and should only be done by a true expert, because only then will we ensure the right result and thus a satisfied customer. As a result, your expertise also brings you good value for money and customer satisfaction.

Our company ambition is to be among the experts who are constantly working on themselves and improving in their field! 21st Century Carpet Cleaners and Cleaners

Technology

You don’t have to be allergic or asthmatic to understand and appreciate the benefits of water separation vacuuming technology. HYLA® is the water separation vacuuming method , which makes HYLA more than a vacuum cleaner or with HYLA, breathing is an experience. The main driving force behind the development and use of this technology in the 1990s was the problem of allergies and asthma. How to quickly, easily and without great expense remove dust that bothers virtually everyone. The HYLA® is currently the only device that, without filters and HEPA filters, can capture virtually all allergens, dust and irritants and do so over the long term. It therefore creates an optimal environment for allergy and asthma sufferers.

HYLA® GTS stands for “Geyser Separator Technology”. HYLA® is a worldwide patented self-cleaning separator technology. As the air and dust passes through the water, a geyser of water rises up to the separator, All dust that is then reflected by the separator is immediately captured and flushed away by the water. Therefore the HYLA® does not need any HEPA filter at the outlet.

TechniqueDeep Carpet Dusting using the HYLA® GST method via a rotary separator, uses this technical solution to thoroughly remove small and solid particles from the intake air. It works on the principle of a rotating grid which, at a peripheral speed of over 300 km per hour, guarantees excellent air filtration and, in conjunction with a water-filled system, perfectly and effectively replaces the function of filters and bags. At these speeds, the rotating separator acts as an impenetrable barrier. Particles that are not sufficiently wetted and retained on first contact with the water charge and continue to the separator are repeatedly pulled down by the separator into the water column in the space between the separator and the water surface. Here they become heavy with absorbed moisture and gradually complete their journey in the water filling. From there they are simply poured out.

Deep rotary carpet cleaning with the HYLA® GST method removes a lot of dust and dirt from the carpet. It is the principle of the rotary separator that is the “magic” that causes the fundamental difference to conventional water vacuum cleaners, in which the amount of dust particles in the tank is only moistened and continues on out of the vacuum cleaner, or is captured in a system of subsequent solid filters. The solid filters are thus clogged with wet dirt, which means an immediate loss of vacuum performance and, above all, if such a clogged filter is not thoroughly cleaned and disinfected immediately, it becomes a breeding ground for mould and bacteria, which are then blown into the air.

Carpet deep tapping cleaning with the HYLA® GST method is primarily designed to dust and prepare the carpet for wet, vacuum or dry cleaning. Such cleaning is not intended for removing stains from the carpet, but primarily for thorough deep vacuuming, where it effectively removes dirt applied to the carpet, e.g. from the outside.

TechniqueCarpet Cleaning and the Prochem brand has been synonymous with quality in the manufacturing of cleaning machines for over 40 years. In particular, Prochem is renowned in the field of professional extraction machines for carpet and upholstery cleaning. A comprehensive range of equipment is available, from a compact extractor for spot and upholstery cleaning to the most powerful extraction system equipped with a dual suction system with the possibility of connecting a water heater.

Carpet cleaning has its important points for the selection of a professional machine, which are not only based on our personal experience, but are the sum of long-term cooperation with both manufacturers and our colleagues, collaborators and companies dedicated to this field.

The extractors with water heating are either in one unit or the heating is obtained as an additional module that is attached to the extractor. The advantage of hot water is that it increases the cleaning efficiency. Foam extractors – here the foam is obtained by mixing a special solution with compressed air, which is either fed from an external source or supplied directly by an integrated compressor. Foam cleaning has the advantage that the drying time of the material to be cleaned is short, but it is less effective than conventional cleaning.

First point we list the size of the machine – tank contents, dimensions, weight . Second point we list the material from which the machine body and accessories are made. The third point lists the accessories, such as carpet nozzles or hand-held upholstery nozzles. What is the material used, for example, whether it will be prone to breakage (not only the extraction nozzle, but also the pipes and elbows). The fourth point concerns the extractor pump, which draws the solution from the tank, which is then injected under pressure through the nozzles of the nozzle onto the surface to be cleaned. The fifth point is the operation of the machine and the last point is the purchase price of the machine.

Carpet Cleaning and 21st Century Cleaning Techniques

TechniqueCarpet preparation before cleaning is a very important task, namely, thoroughly vacuuming the carpet before cleaning. It is common knowledge, hackneyed and always repeated, but I find it necessary to repeat it again because it is still not done in many cases and for professional carpet cleaning this act is very important and necessary. A perfect vacuuming (preferably with a professional vacuum cleaner with a knocking head) will remove loose dirt such as sand, dust etc from the carpet. The carpet is aerated, its pile is loosened, and the chemical has direct access to the carpet fibre and does not waste its power on cleaning dust or sand. The benefits of vacuuming the carpet thoroughly before cleaning.

Thorough vacuuming of the carpet so called before the actual cleaning is a very important operation and the overall result of the carpet cleaning depends on the quality of this operation. Vacuuming the carpet with a vacuum cleaner with a knocking head is a quick operation that increases the efficiency of the cleaning itself.

The Knock Head Brush removes not only loose dirt such as sand and dust, but also hair or animal hair from the carpet. Another important advantage is that vacuuming the carpet with the knocking head also removes the dust that binds the carpet fibers and thus aerates the carpet overall, which has a beneficial effect on both the cleaning itself (the cleaning solution has direct access to the fiber) and the subsequent drying of the carpet, because there are no clumps of wet dust between the carpet fibers that prevent the fiber from being thoroughly cleaned and drying faster.

Action of the active ingredients of the cleaner – this is all about the time we give the cleaner to release the dirt. For professional cleaning, it is essential to use the full potential of the cleaning agent used. It is important to understand the space we normally leave for the action of the cleaning agent when using a conventional extraction procedure, the time between spraying and extraction, which is only a short time. So if we want to clean professionally, it is necessary to pre-spray the carpet with a cleaning solution that has sufficient concentration and also has sufficient time to release all the dirt.

Mechanical dirt release – a significantly better result in the release of dirt in the carpet is achieved by mechanical action. We can use rotary roller brushes or a disc machine, but just adding mechanical action using the carpet nozzle alone increases the cleaning efficiency.

TechniqueTemperature – When cleaning carpets and textiles, we improve the cleaning result by using hot water instead of room temperature water or even cold water. Tests have shown us that cleaning with water just 10°C warmer than room temperature gives a result that is only achieved a second time with conventional cleaning.

Time of action of the chemical, time for heating the water, drying time, delays between each operation, speed of movement of the carpet nozzle, etc.

Carpet rinse – when using a pre-spray cleaning solution, the carpet is subsequently rinsed with a solution designed for rinsing the carpet after the dirt has been released. The cleaning ingredients already in this solution have relieved the surface tension of the water thus increasing its wettability and thus allowing for perfect removal of the loosened dirt, but in addition these ingredients also allow for the cleaning of less soiled areas where pre-spraying was not necessary.

Professional carpet cleaning requires high quality cleaning agents designed for professional use, not only do they have a positive impact on the environment and are gentle on the surfaces to be cleaned, but above all they do not endanger the operator who is in contact with them on a daily basis. Long gone are the days when one cleaner was used to clean all surfaces, whether it was carpets or sofas. Today, we use cleaning products according to the type of dirt and material used, and this significantly reduces their consumption because the active ingredients act directly on the dirt for which they are intended.

Carpet cleaning and impregnation techniques of the 21st century

TechniquesProtecting cleaned carpets with a system of impregnations, whether anti-stain or water repellent, are applied after cleaning to still damp carpets or upholstery, which means that they can be applied immediately after cleaning. The impregnation extends the life of upholstery fabrics and carpets, protects them from wear and tear, increases their resistance to water or oil-based soiling and facilitates subsequent cleaning.

Impregnation of cleaned carpets is useful wherever fabric or carpet protection is needed from heavy soiling or stains. It runs the gamut from homes with small children or pets to cinema or bus seats to hotels and restaurants. Fluoroseal Plus carpet impregnation is a high quality professional grade protectant that contains Dupont fluoropolymer (Dupont is an American manufacturer of polymers under the Teflon brand) and a special stain inhibiting additive that work together to prevent stains and soiling. Fluoroseal Plus is suitable for use on most carpets and carries the WoolSafe maintenance authorisation for wool carpets and rugs.

Impregnation application has its own laws. The manufacturer’s recommendation is to carry out a final extraction rinse (for both carpets and upholstery) with B109 Fibre and Fabric Rinse which has a pH4, creating the right conditions for the impregnation to bond well with the fabric. If a new carpet or sofa is being impregnated, it should first be slightly dampened with this product before impregnation.

Carpet impregnation is applied to the cleaned material, always as the last application. The application is carried out with a pressure sprayer equipped with a good quality straight nozzle (sprays in a plane), the sealing of the sprayer should be Viton. Apply the impregnation evenly in a cross pattern. For carpets, use a carpet comb and for upholstery, lightly rub in Tampico with a natural fibre brush. If any staining occurs around the area to be treated (e.g. glass or floor), wipe off immediately. Rinse the tool with clean water when the job is finished.

TechniquePROCHEM and Dr.Schutz have always ensured that their cleaning products are environmentally friendly. All their products can be used safely if used correctly and responsibly. The surfactants used in all products are easily biodegradable and comply with current legislation.

Due to the ever-increasing demand for cleaning products that are both highly effective and environmentally friendly, PROCHEM and DR. SCHUTZ have decided to meet this demand and have developed and marketed products that are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible while maintaining the highest possible level of quality and cleaning performance.

The benefit of using these products lies in the maximum friendliness of the substances used to nature and their 100% biodegradability. They only contain ingredients that are safe for the environment and are free from artificial colours and deodorants, free from synthetic EDTA and NTA, phosphate free, biodegradable, environmentally safe and formulated with modern eco surfactants and have a natural lemongrass, eucalyptus and tea tree fragrance.

The Natural Cleaners range includes three areas: extraction cleaning – Natural Carpet Cleaner / pre-cleaning of heavily soiled areas – Natural Carpet Prespray / stain removal – Natural Carpet Spotter / antibacterial high performance Fresh UP 2in1.

Prochem simply wants to “raise the bar” in offering environmentally friendly cleaning products and has therefore launched a range of “natural cleaners”, which is the next step in product development using available materials, new options and technologies that are not only safer but also more effective and which have the same or even higher efficacy than equivalent professional products, without harming the environment.
